FAQ
Comprehensive Answers
There are always a lot of questions when it comes to fitness. Below are answers to some of the most common questions I’ve received. There are obviously a lot more questions, so feel free to get in touch with me and ask away.

WHAT TYPES OF HOME FITNESS EQUIPMENT DO YOU RECOMMEND?
I have a fully equipped studio just 200 yards from Richmond Bridge . If you prefer online sessions, you would need: a light resistance band, a medium resistance band, a range of dumbbells from 1.5kgs to at least 5kgs to start off with, a step up bench/box.
I would recommend you get the following kit:

-
Empty mineral water bottles - refill the bottles with differing amounts of sand to get different weighted bottles. (Weigh yourself without the bottle and then with the bottle to establish how much each bottle weighs).
-
a backpack which you can load with weight OR a ZELUS weighted vest

HOW ARE YOU DIFFERENT FROM A REGULAR GYM TRAINER?
As a personal trainer, I have completed not only a standard ISSA course but I have furthered my studies by completing a Fitness Coach Specialist course - aimed at women over 40. Furthermore, I am a fully certified yoga instructor, Barre instructor, Qigong instructor, Somatic Yoga instructor and a MENOPAUSE COACH AND NUTRITIONIST. In this way, I can create a wonderful bespoke session for you .
